Welcome to YET.

As a strategic HR business partner, coach and yoga teacher, I am committed to transforming organizations and individuals by empowering people to create what is possible.

I have always been inspired by people and organizations who just make things happen!  Each of us decides every day how we want to show up and if we want to do the work.

I have worked with many organizations and individuals who are "stuck" in old patterns and continue to push away possibility.   I have a way of quickly spotting those patterns in any scenario and finding a way through, when others assume there is no way.   It's all about efficiencies, throwing "can't" out the window and taking a deep breath of courage.

Yes, it takes time.   Baby steps.   Like moving through molasses.  When we place our drishti (view or gaze), some call it a vision, goal or dream,  on a  specific focal point, our attention and energy will naturally flow there.  And, by leveraging our individual and unique strengths, we can create a future full of possibility.

I believe it's quite simple.  Inhale.  Exhale.  Transform.   With every inhale, we breathe in good vibes, positive energy, confidence and courage.   With every exhale, we let go of negative thoughts, fear, excuses and doubt.

You've read the YET story, now let's create yours.

Why choose to work with Roberta?

Roberta is a Human Resources consultant with over 30 years of progressive leadership and human resources experience, in large and rapidly-changing organizations.  After leaving the corporate world, she decided to start her own business to help companies that are small to medium sized and cannot afford or do not need a full-time HR Manager.

Roberta is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (FCPHR) and SHRM-SCP.  She has implemented, evaluated, directed, and led all functional areas in human resources including; recruitment, employee engagement and retention, employee and labour relations, employee and leadership development, total rewards (compensation and benefits), HR policy, programs and practices, performance management, occupational health and safety, and organizational effectiveness.  She has also developed and facilitated many courses, workshops and seminars for large organizations and small businesses, and enjoys teaching at Okanagan College.

Roberta loves and embraces change.  Perhaps it’s because she has personally been through six mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and many internal reorganizations and restructuring initiatives.  She has also led, sponsored and/or supported the HR integration of organizations on four different occasions.

Roberta volunteered on the BC CPHR Southern Interior Advisory Council for 12 years in various roles including Chair and Vice-Chair for five years.  She has also served on CPHR provincial and national committees and is a mentor to other HR professionals.

Roberta has held numerous volunteer leadership roles in our community and is currently the President of the Kelowna Women's Shelter Board of Directors.

Her mantra is:  aspire to inspire before you expire.
